The Process

"Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces up, snow is exhilarating;

there is no such thing as bad weather, just different kinds of good weather."
John Ruskin
   Where I go and where I look is where I live, the simple result of exploring and enjoying
       the world outside my door. There, are the wooded dunes of Lake Michigan.
       The process evolves and involves-- light again.
       Beaming through translucent green leaves,
 reflected by moon, ice or lake--
       light dazzles
and excites color and is essential to taking a slide photograph.
       Here are images of clouded moon and rays of the sky,
       great great grandmother
 Lake Michigan, sand and snow dunes,
       ice storms, and boughs and roots of trees.
       Here, seasons and variety of weather create the perfect settings for fairytales
       of light
and fog, clouds, moon, wind, stars, sky and sunshine.

      Another Spring.
